Day 4 of taking Orlistat after being perscribed by my doctor. So far i have lost 4lbs which i am very happy with.

I have been snacking lots because i am hungry as i am eating much healthier than normal but it seems to be working.

Has anyone had any big weight losses? How long will they let me take the tablets? I heard it was only for 12 weeks.

    I was only given 4 moths worth n lost 4 stone. 

    My friend has been on them for 8 months. I know the gp expects 5% of you body weight in 12 weeks else they don't give you them again!! Well done on yr loss n good luck. X

    18 monthsis the longest you can stay on them- you will have to lose 5% of your body weight in 12 weeks otherwise you won't get them. Not on them anymore was on them in total a year went from a 24 to a 12 last time i checked i had lost 8 stone probably bit more. I have a blog on the tablets if you want it?

      Good to know you can stay on them longer if they are working.  I am very motivated and want to prolong my success
