Day 6 of Citalopram (Celexa)

Alright heres my story. Im a 44 year old male. Ive been healthy my whole life. Around Christmas last year I came down with Covid. Symptoms were not horrible outside of losing my taste and smell. Since recovering from Covid I have developed slight depression, anxiety, and some panic attacks. Three weeks ago I had a horrible attack that they related to a reaction from Welbutrin and Prednisone i was taking. I stopped both Meds and felt normal for two weeks. Then everything came back. I went back to my dr and she prescribed me 10mgs Celexa with 20 mgs Clonidine to take as needed if i have an attack. The first 3 days of Celexa my Anxiety was horrible. It was better day 4 but still had the eye twitching and minor headaches. Actually day 4 i didnt need any of the clonidine. The clonidine are 20 mgs and ive found a 1/4 pill seems to do the trick. Yesterday day 5 I was fine until late afternoon when I had horrible anxiety come back so i took 1/4 pill of clonidine and it cleared in about an hour. Today day 6 I woke up feeling better no anxiety yet, hopefully it stays this way. I wake up every couple hours and theres times I actually cant tell if im sleeping or not, its weird. I just hope this gets better, I want to be normal again as Ive never dealt with anything like this. The dr seriously thinks what im dealing with is a post Covid reaction. I was clear of Covid the first week of January. I just want these effects of the Celexa to clear so i can get back to normal. Ive told myself im gonna stick it out since ive already took 6 doses and made it to the three horrible days of anxiety! I do still feel spacey at times since ive started the Celexa but it sounds like thats probably normal. Ive also had zero appetite so far. Has anyone else heard of any post Covid reactions causing problems like this? Thanks everyone these forums have helped me a ton through these first days of starting this medicine.

Day 7 today, made it through yesterday pretty good without needing the clonandine for any anxiety attacks. I did have another attack this evening and had to take 1/4 pill of the clonandine. For some reason it seems my anxiety is the worse around 5-6pm in the afternoon. Still zero appetite, im just ready to get through these effects! I am hoping im getting over the hump since today marks a full week on it! This sight has been awesome, encouraging, and informative for me through this time! Thanks!
