day seven and again not the best, although my doctor reckons it's caused by an antibiotic I have to take for a week, in his own words they do'nt like to use it unless absolutely neccessary due to it's side effects! so it is a neccessary evil sad oh well, what can you do? what to have for dinner is next question

I found the antibiotic Cefalexin seemed to make me more anxious.

Can you take them at the opposite end of the day to your flu pills? And take with food?

    I have heard of them,

Ps...... Hope you had something nice  for dinner!

      hello,

I take the flux @ 10ish in the mornings, the anti biotic is three per day with 7-8 hours between, but I do have some food in my belly before taking them, they are so big I was'nt sure whether to swallow the buggers or perhaps have to "insert" them!!! haha. Yes I had a nice dinner, jacket tatties, beef stew, steamed veggies nomnomnom

      Dinner sounds nice!

They are a bit like horse tablets! At least you only have 1 week of them. Hopefully all these side effects will soon be gone. Daughter has decided she is going to have a small glass of champagne at midnight, I hope that doesn't mean she will regret it tomorrow.  X

I hope the champagne does'nt have any undesired after effects, but surely one wee glass? I do'nt drink so guess I'll be okay. Do hope that 2015 is really nice both for your daughter and your good self, healthy happy and prosperous. X

Thankyou,  you too.  Tonight will be a quiet one, and I rarely drink,  so hoping I would be sat by the fire, listening to fireworks, and raising a glass to the new year

In reality, I will  probably be fast asleep!

    Hi david

    Happy new year to you!

Hope youre feeling a bit better today and that the anti biotics dont cause you too much bother (I cant take some have bad allergic reactions). Youve enough to contend with without side effects from those too :-(

It was nearer lunch time when I got up- now thats lazy! Tho I dragged myself to a friends party last night for an hour but managed to really enjoy myself, surprised myself wanting to stay:-)it meant got to bed til very late  but was so glad to feel relaxed n having fun, be a bit more like myself it was worth it. Few glasses prob helped me relax but thought might set me back today managing ok so far thankfully.

Wishing you all the best for health n happiness for 2015 (starting soon I hope).

      hiya Vix,

thankyou for your message smile I guess there is a few people glad that New years eve is but once a year, various hangovers haha. that is a very positive result for you interacting last night, I could'nt manage it I am so unsociable at times, still tending to hide away in the house most days. today has been fine, no antibiotic side effects so guess my body is okay with it. perhaps another few weeks before I get the benefit of the 40mgs fluoxetine so patience is a virtue! health n happiness to you to for 2015 and beyond.

      David x smile
