De quervains tenosynovitis

I had a steroid injection about 10 hours ago and my thumb is still numb. Has anyone had this done and how long did the numbness last for

    Hi Kim,

    mine took about 3 days before it started to feel normal again.  If you are really worried, you could always call the Rheumy nurses for re-assurance.  I hope the injection helps.

      Hi sukes thankyou for your post. I had it done 14 hours ago and its still numb. I was starting to worry because when i had one in my foot the numbness went after 2-3 hours

    Usually a couple of days before back to normal.
