I eat healthily and I exercise but I find it difficult to lose weight and it is so depressing and frustrating especially when you do not eat a lot. I have IBS and I really need help in finding out how I can lose weight please. There are so many diets out there and I do not know which one will work and I do not have time due to work commitments to go to Weightwatchers etc. I just need a diet plan please

    Hi Garooba!

So long as you eat a healthy diet with very sensible helpings (!!) and get plenty of exercise there's no reason why you can't lose weight. I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) which I always believed meant I couldn't lose weight - rubbish! I started doing at least 10,000 steps a day every day and lost over 2 stone and am delighted as die to eating sensibly and keepong walking regularly I'm able to maintain my desired weight. :-)

I think a lot of people look to diets to lose weight 'for them', but it never works in the long time and that's when you yo yo diet with a yo yo weight!!

Be honest with yourself about your food and your exercise and if you can truthfully say

"I always eat healthily, never eating portions that are too large and exercise EVERY day (or at least 5 days a week)"

..then you should and can lose weight!!

Even on wet days: go to YouTube and look up Leslie Sansone's walking videos, they are brilliantly and help keep up the enthusiasm.

You CAN do this, and you WILL if you REALLY want to! Take a photo of yourself first, then get a picture in your mind of how you'd like to look then work towards it. In time you'll get there and it's quicker than you think so long as you say true to yourself. If I can - you can!!

    Best wishes, Sue

Have you been to your doctor? I'm sure they could help, as mine did.
