Right here goes... I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia it all started a few months back... I had a accident (fall) 3 years ago, i suffered with three herniated discs. Multiple tests, hospital apps, mobility issues, morphine, spinal injections. I'm 38 and my pain dr says I'm too young for a disc replacement operation? I was off work until last year and I got a PT job. This is really hard for me as each shift is a struggle and when I get home I'm ready to callapse. I had my 6 months probation extended by 2months after I missed out some paper work for a patient. (Fibro-fog) I always double check things too, I don't understand what's going on? Anyway Ive now been signed off work with a bad chest that feels like I carnt get much air in, plus the pain is terrible. My bloods are fine and I'm waiting for X-ray results. I'm now at a point where I'm thinking that my health is getting worse. I really would love nothing more than to feel pain free for just a little while. I want nothing more than to work, but my head says yes but my body says NO... I have all these questions going round in my head? I have always worked up until my accident and it's driving me mad as I get frustrated that I carnt do the things I once did. I have 3 children 11...16...20 who are very supportive aswell as my amazing fiancé. please can someone give me some advice about what I should do about my job? my family worry about me going out to work... thanks in advance. wink

Thank you grace... yes I'm in the process of sorting finances and I may be entitled? I have now handed in my resignation last week. Such a big thing but I done it. I'm trying to remain positive but my body feels like I'm bruised all over and the pain is terribly especially at night. I do have a pain specialist at the hospital. Acupuncture is not something I've tried. smile

Good for you. Im sure it wasnt easy. I have heard people with Costro have gotten g in there. It gets better. smilegreat relief from accupuncture, so Im going to give it a try. Yes, inflammation feeds off sugar..so reducing it helps the Costro as well. Im glad you have a pain specialist. Theres also a site for special exercises you can do for this and it helps as well. Good luck! and han

Also, eating no sugar or very low sugar is very helpful when you have inflammation.
