Grateful for coming across a post on this site though 2years ago about topic as i am experiencing same.
Can anyone share their knowledge and or experience with regard to this concern i have...... is it necessary to do a UFE if fibroids are degenerating?

What do you mean degenerating? Are they shrinking in size? Is your doctor running tests to check the size of the fibroid?

Degenerating fibroids - this is where, in my case, one of the fibroids got so big that it is cutting off its on blood supply. This is what the doctors said and same for research. When it shrinks it can regain blood supply and start all over again. The pain is very sharp and different from severe cramps. I have two more. I did do the UFE actually couple days after posting and after one week I am feeling much better and only time will tell its effect on me.
