Degenerative Disc Disease and feet problems

I have had back problems since I was 16, so I know the pain of herniated discs. Over the years I have been incapacitated several times when a disc would pop out and hit the nerve. I learned the exercises, went swimming, etc. I used to due aerobics and work out until I was 50. I will admit that I have not always been faithful with exercises or therapy. I was once in traction for 10 days, years ago. Now that I am older, I know that the discs are degenerating in my lower back. I have been to orthopedic surgeons and have had several MRIs, they have never suggested surgery, but therapy. The last time I went was in 2009, and have managed to accept the pain. I have also been to a chiropractor years ago when I was younger when I was having so many herniated disc problems. For the last year. I went to a podiatrist because my gait is off which caused problems in my feet. I know that I have arthritis in my right food, but I keep active. For the last year I have been having periodic shooting pains into one toe, which is swollen and has developed a callus and what appears to be a blood blister. I had a fungus in this toe and had the toe nail removed. I know that I have neuropathy in both feet, and tingling as well as numbness in my right foot I will be going to a chiropractor in our town who also have a physical therapist work with him. I used to only have problems on my right side, now it has radiated to the left side of the lower spine as well. I still remain active, mow grass, but am concerned about the radiating toe pain and the blood blister. I am not diabetic. I have been watching videos about exercising and have increased my back exercise routine. Any similar suggestions, or suggestions? Thanks

Have you been checked to make sure that pain in your toe is not gout or pseudogout?
