Deja vu

i am so so scared. it has been about 18 months since i have had this but tonight i experienced the most intense feeling of deja vu out of nowhere. i had been doing so well and have not felt stressed or anxious but out of nowhere i was looking at something on my phone and i got this overwhelming feeling of familiarity or deja vu, i started to get an adrenaline rush and felt really dizzy from nothing.

i am now sat here shaking, is this a seizure? i have had episodes like this over last 6 or 7 years but i am scared in case this is epilepsy again and going down this road again.

please can you help me? has anyone experienced this before? can it be a mini anxiety attack?

yes yes yes. It’s not seizure. It’s anxiety. You don’t have to feel stressed to have underlying anxiety and symptoms. I’ve had many many episodes of déjà vu out of nowhere. And I know it’s related to my anxiety. Your dizziness came from your fear of the déjà vu so your brain sent out adrenaline causing the dizziness. I just watched a great episode of the Dr. Phil show and it’s about a 30-year-old man who is convinced he has mental illness specifically schizophrenia. It’s really a great show and shows what anxiety and your thoughts can do. If you could ever watch it it would definitely be worth it! The episode is called my top model son is convinced he’s mentally ill. it deals with a lot of us on here when we Google ourselves to death, worry about having some disease, etc. and what the outcome is of all this.
