Demented!!😞

Hi folks, having a hard 3 days 😞... From my bra strap upwards my back is so painful and when I roll my shoulders back the clicking and crunching in my back is horrible but strangely I get a little relief from pain when I do it. The pain is in my shoulders and is radiating up my neck into my head and down both arms. Taking nurophen and isn't touching the pain.. I was ok yesterday morning so I decided to go out and Hoover my car. I was in the car bent over hoovering the back of the car and I stood up to get out the car and my head went fuzzy and I felt so dizzy. I quickly locked the car and went back inside and had to lie down in bed with a basin I have never felt so sick before. I took 2 pain killers and lay down for an hour before the dizziness would shift but the sicky feeling stayed for the rest of the day. Today my back is just as sore even after pain killers. Has anyone else had this head and dizzy sick feeling when there back is sore?

I've had the same symptons for almost 12 years now with the last 5 years being even worse - neck/shoulder stiffness and pain going at time to my head and jaw and cracking and popping sound. Both palms pain, lower back with right side specifically and leg and foot pain and wobbly.

Also have indigestion and extreme frustrating fatigue so much so that pretty much i'm sleeping or lying in bed.

Memory issues, bad agitation and very sentive to touch and sound.

Concentration is negligible. Lost my job cuz of all this. Also very anxious.

Sorry for the erratic english as i can't focus.

I take sertraline 125mg and side effects have aggravated the above.

    Hang in there.

    Hope yoy feel better soon.

    Constant pain and tingling sensation

    Accompanied by brain fog😩

    I take amytriptaline for pain

    Hi Aimee,

I have fibro for 3 years I am 33 years old. I pain from head to toe (during flares) every other day I have bad back and shoulder pain. I experience shooting pains in my legs and arms that comes and goes throughout the day (on good days)

I sometimes feel sick and dizzy followed by a headache. but I always put it down to medication. I’m on amitriptyline 50mg at night and Lexprim 4-5tabs a day (I am trying to ween off Lexprim)

Try not to take pain killers you buy cause they don’t work and you will end up with stomach problems. When I’m bad I’d take anything to see if it helps but I know by experience nothing really helps other than heat. Either heat patches or electric blanket. Hot baths help while your in it but the pain is terrible again when you get out. Same with the patches while there hot it soothes the pain but comes back when it’s cold or the patch is removed.

Have you tried a Tens Machine? It can be pretty good at times of need. You can buy them in Argos or on eBay for about €30. It sends electric waves through your body and distracts the brain away from the pain.

CBD oli is also good (contains cannibis but no stone feeling) you can get drops you put in your mouth or you can Vape it. Have tried the drops (horrible taste) if you get past that it actually works. I’m going to buy the vape to give that ago. It’s totally legal in Ireland and the U.K.

Try yoga i started 4 weeks ago and I find it great for the mind as you know yourself us fibro sufferers have mental health issues because of illness. It helps me cope with my illness while helping physical well-being.

The yoga I go to only has a few stretches and the rest is relaxation and breathing. I totally recommend it.

Try get triple Omega 3, 6 & 9 it helps a little with fibro fog. I forget everything even packing my sons lunch Iv to set reminders. I’m getting a little better from taking these 2 times per day. I’m on them 4 weeks.

I’m probably not much help hun but I do hope some of my recommendations help xx

    Gentle hugs xx

    Victoria
