Dent near forehead hairline and noticed spreading

In the last year my child asked me why i had a dent in my forehead. Since then been always in the back of my mind.

i remember always having a sensitive spot there i think from years back of having a hit to that side of my head. But classed that sensitive spot as a scar. now i have a dent and thinning of hair. I've noticed or feel the dent has moved further towards the back. it basically reminds me of that dent new born babies have on the crown of there head that doesnt close up until later on. im scared and worried. no pain or burning. just when i get really stressed i feel it carries tension. i have had an ultrasound down on it , they didnt see anything. Doc says stress. i have been under severe stress for last 8 yrs. He said nothing is wrong, if there was trauma there its the stress then making it like that. Thinking of asking for an MRI. Has anyone has similiar issue
