    Hi Jill54900

I do not know of any person who have had any help with Dental costs because they have Sjogrens Syndrome or for any other medical condition, thankfully I get a little help as I have been medically retired, I believe you only get help with costs  for social reasons.  About the soles of my feet, no they are not bright red.but boy do they itch, I use aloe-Vera Gel it gives me some relieve but not completely  I hope you find some help with your condition.

    Hi Jill

I lost three teeth just last year before I was diagnosed n found that to be heartbreaking.ive always looked after my teeth I was so proud of never even having a filling !!

One of my jobs this week (brain fog) is to go to the dentist n find out as much info as I can

For me. The itchiness occurs every now n then mainly the palms of my hands and my legs. I've not found anything to sooth this

Does anyone have any tips over the night sweats. I wake up drenched 😩😩😱also, I am very dark skinned but seem to be burning if I sit in the sun. Is this too another side effect.

Jesus I feel like I'm falling to bits ! Xx

Hi I have same as I wake feeling drenched or before bed even I just start sweating. I am  going to shower before bed to get relieve. I unsure over this test result I'm waiting on. At one time I worried family /docs/consultants were disbelieving me due to lack of diagnosis. Now I am well moved on that, i know the pain is real. But eye Dr thought I have sjogrens, reading  symptoms it does seem  identical.

Dental Fees from NHS Direct Wales : Will I have to pay for treatment?

If you fall into any of these categories when a course of treatment starts you will not need to pay for your NHS dental treatment:

You are under 18, or are a full-time student under 19.

You are expecting a baby, or you have had a baby in the last 12 months.

You are named on a Tax Credit NHS Exemption Certificate.

You are named on an NHS HC2 certificate for full help with health costs.

Or, you get or are included in an award of someone getting:

Income Support, Universal Credit (during the period April 2013 - March 2014),

Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (contribution based JSA does not entitle you to help with health costs), Income-related Employment & Support Allowance (contribution based ESA does not entitle you to help with health costs), or

Pension Credit Guarantee Credit, (Pension Credit savings credit on its own does not entitle you to help with health costs).

Other benefits such as Incapacity benefit, Personal Independence Payment, Armed Forces Independence Payment or Disability Living Allowance don't entitle you to help with health costs because they are not income related.
