I have been living where I am for the past 13 years. I cannot get a job and settle down. I have my own property. I have re-trained unfortunately it does not work.  have people say that I should try different jobs. They do not work. In my past profession I worked in the film industry until last year. I was very good at my job as a cinema projectionist. I worked in big film studios. I am thinking of going back into the film industry as at least I know that I can get work and stay in work.  I am not sure what to do.

I like where I live  It is effecting me in a way that I feel that I am not good enough. Even though I have had to work really hard to get where I was in the film industry. Where I am. I am not getting any where.

What do we have to do to ever be good enough sometimes we expect too much of ourselves it all depends on what you feel is best for you pros cons etc and what you feel your hearts telling you would be best for you and not what anyone else thinks.dont expect automatic change but if dire situation be selfish and think what you feel would work best for you and dont rush it.its hard to know if what we think are helpful or positive for us thoughts but only pursuing anything that takes us out of just existing and help to enjoy life can only be +ive.its crap sometimes the time it takes to c bit of light peeping through tunnel but its only black when switched off

I really hope your answers become clear and you feel brave enough to follow them whatever f.ups happen en route

    All best to you

I say get a job and do what your good at..  I believe once you have this everything else will follow.  I understand that you like where you live but you need to work in order to live, right?    Perhaps, once you go back into the film industry, you'll find another place that you like...

I know it is hard to enjoy a life without a good job or without settle down. I suggest you go for what you really like, as you mentioned in the post that your previous experience was in film industry. If possible go back to your previous job don’t waste your valuable time in thinking.
