frustrating condition but can be kept under control for periods of time. Flares will happen but if you try Some of the things suggested you should find something that helps. Do follow the treatment given but you can use natural products such h as coconut oil to sooth and moisturize. Good luck. Ann

sorry to hear you just joined the club. To be honest is controlable and is not as bad as they tell us. this forum is a great place to be. we just need to pay more attention to our under carriage part. only cotton underwear, borax and water spray. Use of pure oils (daily) and the rest. take care and keep in mind stress will not help this issue!

Oh hang in there. As long as you can keep on top of it, it isn't too bad. I only get upset when I have bouts with it. Since I started using Borax I feel great!!I freaked out too when I was diagnosed. It took a couple of months to calm down and realize I just had to accept as what else was I going to do? It is just really hard at the beginning and I wish you the best and try the Borax. The women on this site are so amazing and kind!! They have helped me so much. Take care!

Don't look at the pictures. It's traumatizing. I was very very emotionally upset at diagnosis. Could hardly eat for awhile.
I have found it's quite manageable. I do have periods of miserable itching and some discomfort but there are lots of things to try to get relief. Moisturizers like emu oil etc ... I have had so much relief from emuaid. Do some research. I have received tremendous help and support on here. Stick around. A wealth of wisdom and experience here.

Hi Bucky
Everything the others have said to you here I agree with. Read it all, absorb it all and try it all!!!! This is a great forum and you don't have to feel alone with this disease. Count yourself lucky that you did look it up on the internet because the worst thing you can do is to do nothing. For me the castor oil mixture is like a dream come true, for others it could be Borax, coconut oil, Emu oil or Australian Dream Cream...... plus plus plus!!!! Read on....
Suggest a steroid cream only once a week
Good luck
Jan
