Please go to the doctors to get checked out, It's probably something simple that they can fix with a tablet xxx

so sorry to hear this, I know the feeling, I've had an ear infection that's left me with balance problems & despite loads of different drugs I still have the problem after 5 months! I'm going for a second opinion in August & have a referral to a Balance specialist in August. Not best pleased with the Nat Health Service, but can't afford private!

      Are you in the UK?

Those symptoms sound odd. Any chance you could have contracted Lyme disease? Health issues are scary but most things resolve in time with a doctor’s care. Trust you will figure out the cause and heal.

thanks for your replies. I don't know anything about Lyme disease, I thought it was an American thing! I will look it up.

I have had loads of tests; 4 MRI scans, a CT scan lots of blood tests, a mastoidectomy, they checked the fluid & only found a mild fungus which they treated. I've also had a Lumbar puncture! I've had antibiotics (Amoxiclav, Augmentin) on and off from March until June. I'm taking Betahistine (Serc), Pregabalin, and more antibiotics; Ciprofloxacin and Sodium Fusidate.

I'm a woman of 66 so I guess things will take longer to heal.

Please try to be positive about your problems, you are very young and have time on your side.

Because of the vertigo and cold sweats it could be Meniere disease vertigo , I have it sometimes , the night situation is probably too much anxiety I went through that the same.

As for Lyme disease is mostly in US and some in Europe

Sorry to read this, I’m no professional however it’s probably best to see your GP again..Perhaps your going through some mental health problems... Don’t be afraid to get help... Don’t feel alone, speak out and get the help you need.. It will help with reducing the feelings your getting.. I suffer from anxiety every now and then.. The feelings can feel physical when it’s all in my mind.. Counselling helped me.. Everyone responds differently to stress and it can throw you off balance unknowingly.. I’ve had vertigo, ears popping, sweats and all.. it was caused by my anxiety...  Don’t worry and overstress Yourself.. Take everything easy and I’m sure with time you will start feeling much better.. x
