im a 24 year old female june 2020 is when i underwent surgery for hemorrhoidectomy and fissurectomy. i had actually gone to the surgeon complaining about a fissure that i felt was chronic and upon examination found i had a grade 2 pile. ive neen facing fissure problems for 2 years and it got really painful this year as the recurrence rate was really high and thought i might get surgery for it and get rid of this problem and he agreed that this is would be the best way to go as all conservative measures had failed. Just like everybody else the post operative pain was excruciating but yes the pain did improve that it went from pain during and after BM the entire day to pain only during BM and finally to pain only with the first poo that comes out during BM. ive had no blood or anything like that these last 3 months except for yellow discharge that has stopped too.
whats happening now is i have blood attached to every single stool of my BM and the entire BM is painful and there is blood. is this normal? im really scared as to whats happening and does going to the bathroom ever become painfree or no? ive been really patient throughout this entire ordeal but this has gotten me really low. im scheduled for a colonoscopy tomorrow of which i am terrified. can someone please tell me when it becomes painfree or do i have to live with it for the rest of life? im really depressed and cry every day. please help me

Hi Nura! I had my hemorroidectomy in Dec 2019 and I am still in extreme pain. Today was sooo horrible and I bled a little. I just want one day without BM pain. I wanted to do a colonoscopy to check things out. What did the doctor say after you did the colonoscopy?

hey Christy! i had my colonoscopy and the results were all normal. not a single finding. although the doctor did put me on a fibre supplement, a cream and pain medication. things have been slightly better since the supplement i believe but not to the point where i can say its painless. there definitely is pain with every BM even now but im almost losing track of how much it used to hurt and how much it hurts, it just hurts is all. ive been so particular about my diet i just dont know when we will feel normal.
im so sorry youve been in pain for THIS long!! have you found the reason why this nay be happening? why theres still pain so long after surgery? i really hope you get better

Hey! I am actually doing great! I have 1, sometimes 2 BM's a day. Pain free, no blood. I see you are still in pain. I just couldn't deal. It is after midnight so I am now 13 days post op. I drink lots of water and daily I take 3 stool softeners and 3 fiber gummies. Have you tried stool softeners & fiber?
I spent hours reading this forum and I'm lucky. I have a follow up with my surgeon on Thursday. My only complaint right now is the stupid skin tag I got from the surgery. Everybody says it will eventually go down and to be patient but I want it gone now. It is in the way.

My doctor believes it's the scar tissue that is taking long to soften. That's why I have all this pain but I don't know. I am a bit better. I take metamucil every two days on mornings, miralax every night and drink 3 litres of water daily. I want this to be over 😦

Nura, are you in USA like me? I am not sure if height & weight matter when taking stool softeners & fiber but I take 3 of both daily. I am a 32 y/o female, 4"11 and 105 lbs.
