Ive just comne back from the Dr's and she has precribed me with Sertraline...So does it work and does it effect you driving ?

I wouldn't drive until you've got through the 'bedding in' period of this drug. Personally the first few weeks I felt dizzy and nauseous. You may not have the same symptoms as everyone seems to have different side effects.

it made me feel very nauseous & anxious for the first 3 weeks. It has never hindered my driving though.
Week 4 & starting to notice a small difference. I think with most people it takes 4-8 weeks before you feel the full effect. Hang on in there. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.

However you need to assess the effects yourself!
If you don't feel right in the morning before work then call in sick! I know this may not sound morally right BUT if anything did happen, work would question why you went ahead, they would certainly claim that if you had told them they would have understood!
Equally if it means keeping the Children off school as a consequence of you not being able to drive them; they would equally say that if they had been told they would understand! Etc!!!
