In my entire life I have not felt the way I am feeling now, I got to notice some soars on my private part and after I shaved it got spread around my genitals with sores and now its healing. I visited the doctor yesterday and she told me its herpes 2 and I did a test that Is yet to be out. but I have not had unprotected sex for 3 months now . could this possibly be  herpes ? please I need to talk with someone I am very depressed about this situation and I feel really disappointed in my self.

    You cannot distinguish HSV1 or HSV2 from each other visually.

    Unless looking at a mouth! Hsv2 will rarely form orally!

    So your results could either be 1 or 2.

    Either way try not to let it get you down! It’s super common and super easy/manageable to live with! It gets better with time. Feel free to message me if you need a chat 😃
