Depression after ranitidine

hello i was taking ranitidine for reflux 2 a day for a week i stopped 3 days ago all i do is cry everything make me sad even when i m trying to stay happy i cry and cry đŸ˜­

    hi there ana. im on this medication longterm for gerd disease. sorry 2 hear u have suffered this withdrawal symptom. ive not heard of it before. id go to see yr dr tell them wats wat & ask if this indeed can cause the upset yr now having.

    Hope u feel better soon, mentally & with yr reflux. im on lansoporazole x2 per day + 1Ă—ranitidine. good luck. mandy. xx

      ohh grt . mines awful @ the moment.

      hope u sort how you feel otherwise since stopping it as to wether its the cause of feeling low or coincidental timing when u stopped the medication.

      yes this is the reason why i dont like taking medication because i dont know what side effect i will get i hope this feeling go away soon

    Hi ana, i have used Ranitidine for years and swear by it, i have ibs and it helps with the acid like nothing else does. I would go back to your doctor there must be another reason your teflux is bad. You need to find a different thing to take, f you have no faith in your doctor try your chemist?

      yes he prescried other antic acid and acid gone what is chemist ?
