hi ive taken beta blockers for anxiety in the past it has returned not as bad but I took it anyway becauseI had it in the cupboard and now I'm really depressed is their a connection please help

Hi. is it possible that you feel depresses as your anxiety has returned. I have had my anxiety return about a week ago and ut gas made my mood low as i know the struggle i have to go through. I don't think beta blockers cause depression but it's something to check with your GP.

I agree with Joanne. I don’t think the beta blockers caused depression. It’s possible that you already had an underlying depression and may not have even known. Anxiety and depression often go hand-in-hand . talk to your doctor about this. Feel better soon .
