Depression and inner head noise

Hi All, Been a while since i have been here, but in need of some help please.
I have suffered from severe depression for some years now, i have had councilling, i am currently on 150mg of Sertraline along with Wafrin after aortic valve replacement.
For the past few months i have suffered from what can only be discribed as a hissing / buzzing inside my head, trying to get some piece and quite is impossible. The past few days it has had a undiscrible which effect my life, anything and everthing is a problem i can have issues with anything, simple tasks, watching the TV just annoys me, trying to cope with every day issues is becomeing a nightmare, for the past two days i have done nothing but sleep, not that i want to but i just keep dropping off, which in one way good as i don't here the hissing in my head. Today is a little bit better as the hissing is not quite so much and do feel a little better, but past experience tells me it will be back. I have wondered if it could be my Sertraline tablets and of course this would me another visit to my GP.
I just wonder if anyone has suffed from the same or simliar ?. Did you find a cure or a release?.
I would be greteful for any imput or guidence.
Thank you for taking the time to read the above.
Regards...

It sounds to me like it could be Tinnitus, but I have never suffered from it so I don't know. I would suggest that you see your doctor as soon as possible.
It sounds to be an awful thing to live with. I hope you will soon get some relief from it.
Good luck,
Pat

Tinnitus, when i and my late mother suffered with it, we took a Homepathical tablet called archente nit (spelling), which work very very well.

You could also have a word with your local pharmacist as they should know. x

Thank you for the comments, i will be making an appointment with my local surgery this coming week, I am beginning to wonder if it is the sertraline as the sertraline prescribed is now with a different manufacturer, and has been suggest that i might well be taking the cheaper version.
