    Hi pwincess

Depression hits all ages and I imagine being told your suffering depression may be difficult at such a young age. The good thing is that you will get the correct treatment to help you overcome it. Follow your doctors advice so you can start getting better as you are going to have brilliant times ahead. What was going on with you prior to your diagnosis?

      Hi Lorraine,

thank you for your advice and I have epilepsy therefore the medics believe that's what's brought the depression on. But I don't know what and who to believe.

It is confusing and hard to understand, you might ask yourself but why? But you really don't have to wonder why, it just is. Simply by accepting you're depressed you can move forward and start to take the steps to be happy/yourself again. Don't worry it takes time to cope but you'll be okay I promise! It'll only get better with time. I go through spurts of depression and anxiety and it's miserable but through therapy, counseling, and exercise it has really helped me tremendously. Message me if you want advice! You are not alone

Hi pwincess (You're not alone) 5 weeks ago I started to feel all these strange weird feelings through out my body.....I felt lost alone and lonely mind you I have 3 kids at home so I wasn't really lonely BUT that's how it made me feel inside I also felt odd and it came in waves and it would me me cry.....REMEMBER every one experiences depression AND anxiety differently but you'll find every one has the same symptoms at the same time. I also have anxiety and when my depression came on the anxiety came as well and that's to be expected in most cases (they like to follow each other (making it harder for us to deal with) it's a pest annoying little pest that likes to take control over our mind and bodies.

What type of symptoms do you have ?

And don't be ashamed if you have weird odd feelings and thoughts cause every one has had it TRUST ME because I'm one of them people.

I'm on cipramil 15 mil I started off on 10 for 2 weeks and then upped the dose 2 weeks ago

All up I've been on the medication for 4 weeks.

Keep talking about it (with friends and family) make sure you have good support (that is the best thing to have) keep coming on here if you have any other questions to ask.....and if you find any negative comments just ignore them and go back to the people who gave you the right positive supportive advice.....
