hi. cant believe im on this moaning again but... its hard to talk to people about it.

i feel like ive been so distracted by anxiety that i never appreciated how bad my depression was. im working and things so assumed i cant be that dperessed. but now that anxiety is not as bad i think im more aware of how sad i am and how little i think of myself and how many things get me down. it makes me an unhappy and angry person. i really am starting to feel ill never be ok.

I think you need to up your dose if your anxiety improved but you are still depressed.

hey, well we spoke about various options (change drug class, try another ssri or up dosage). decided to try lexapro. currently tapering and start lex next week. ive been last few weeks feeling anxious and down but not feeling any withdrawal stuff on taper. just my own misery i create!

when i upped my dose from 50mg to 100mg i went from feeling worthless and that life was pointless to being happy and excited about the future. i know its scary, i had horrific side effects too but they got no worse when i upped the dose and within a week i felt great. as you've spent 11 weeks on sertraline already it would be a real shame to not even give it a try. i would go for it and if you feel worse in a couple of weeks then maybe think of another option such as changing meds but i honestly think you will feel a lot better on a higher dose. good luck x
