    Hey!

They think I have a simple cyst about 10cms

They tend to leave small cysts as they normally go away by themselves.

If your worried contact GP or specialist for advice and if symptoms carry on ask again about the plan forward

I've just had a 4cm ovarian dermoid cyst surgically removed. The consultant I saw was certain it was the cause of my pain and that surgery was the only option as dermoid cysts don't go away on their own. I would push for surgery before it gets bigger and the operation needed is a more complicated one.

      Dear Jessica,

Did you feel any pain after the surgery

      any weight gain

      if you were underweight

do you feel active now and your doing better in life without it

A bit of pain yes, but nothing as bad as I'd feared. I did take a long of strong painkillers though for a few days which may have helped on that front. I'd gained a bit of weight in the couple of months prior to surgery and have now lost that weight. I'm not even 2 weeks post surgery yet so too early to say if I'm doing better without it.
