Desogestrel/cerazette headache

Hi so I've been on desogestrel for about 4/5 months now and I keep getting headaches...not sure if they're related! But I don't really want to stop this pill because they have sorted my periods out... I usually have really heavy periods which caused havoc with my lichen sclerosus. I've been on noriday before and I can't take the combined pill due to being Type 1 diabetic and my Mum suddenly died when she was 33 because of a stroke so they won't put me on the combined as a precautions, I don't know what to do and don't want to come off of desogestrel because it has really helped just my headaches are getting me really down.

I was put on propranolol for migraines/headaches years ago but haven't taken them for months maybe even about a year. X
