Desperate for help -mirtazapine problem

Had 71/2 mg of mirtazapine within half a hour could not sit up felt awful - today i have been sleeping and feel 10 times worse than i did yesterday and it is  8.pm nearly 24 hours around - I am very sensitive to prescribed drugs .. can anyone rate to my problem or is it just me ..

    I take mirtazapine at night before I go to bed. Is that how your taking it?

      Hi i took it at 8.00pm in the evening ,terrible reaction - not taking anymore

    Nikki, is that your frst mirtazapine? If it is, that is a pretty intense reaction to the meicaton. I am not so sure that I would take another one without contacting your doctor or calling your pharmacy. David

      Hi yes it was the first tablet - i called crisss team tonight and they have told me to ring the hospital tomorrow ...

    At low doses mirtazapine is very sedating. I slept 12 hours the first night I took it! once I got up to 30mg and 45mg I felt great. 

    Are you taking any other meds with it?
