Hi Jasvinder. I don't come on the site very often either so that's the reason I haven't responded earlier. Balance problems occur for so many different reasons. My own balance problems started over a year ago. These days I am almost back to normal but still have "off" days and get tired very easily, though I try not to let it affect my life too much. In my case, it would appear to have started with an inner ear problem. Have you had vestibular testing yet? It was discovered I had a 30 percent hearing loss as a result of damage to my inner ear probably caused by a virus. I saw an ent specialist who was unable to give me an exact diagnosis but referred me to a physiotherapist who specialises in balance problems. He gave me a number of exercises to do and slowly but surely my balance improved. For the first 9 months I was frightened, suffered panic attacks and ended up in A and E on several occasions thinking I was dying!!! It is an awful thing to have and you feel that unless you have suffered with it yourself, no one knows what you're going through. It sounds as if you've had a really rough time for the past few years. Without going into too much detail I can tell you that I also had a tremendous amount of stress due to a family problem which went on for two years from March 2013.. In October 2014 it was also discovered I have a small benign brain tumour but this is not thought to be linked to the balance problems. I believe that the stress you have been under with your daughter etc is probably making matters worse. Hold on in there Jasvinder as I am sure that like me,things will eventually get better. If you have any questions or if I can help to reassure you, I will be here for you.

Just like to say thank you for your support. Yes have doen a few tests to see whats happening, bloods tests, MRI Scan for my ears, and head, hearing test, all came back clear.  Most of the people i know and freinds are saying its to do with Anxiety.

      Life go's on

Hi Jasvinder. Yes, it is possible that this is due to anxiety. The problem is though that you have to be careful with this "diagnosis" which Is often given when the medical profession is not sure what is wrong. I think you need to rule out all other possibilities first of all. Have you ever suffered from migraines? You can even get them without an actual headache believe it or not. Dizziness can also be related to your eyes and in particular a condition known as heterophoria. Have you had your eyes checked for this condition? Good luck Jasvinder. I hope things start to improve soon.
