What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your body can't properly use and store sugar. When this happens, sugar builds up in your bloodstream. This results in “hyperglycemia,” which is commonly referred to as high blood sugar. Symptoms of high blood sugar include:

Fatigue

Being very thirsty

    I don't know which links you refer to but I can guess.

      Actually I don't think that it very helpful as there is some very useful information out there and it shouldn't be hidden especially not by this website which purports to help patients. In particular regarding diet for diabetics. The NHS Eatwell plate is truly awful encouraging everyone - including diabetics - to eat so much low fat and high carb food. Then they wonder why diabetes and obesity is becoming such an epidemic....
