my partner has diabetes the injecting type and is extremely irritable most of the time. . Not sure if it's just grumpy old man syndrome or relating to blood sugar. Any comments welcome.

Have to think it's just the grumpy sort, insulin generally makes you feel good, and too much insulin makes you pass out. Sorry.
