diabetes type 1 and left upper abscess

I have diabetes and this caused my tooth to break. I went to do an extraction few months ago and i had another tooth painfull so decided to take that one out. The remaining one( the broke one) has a little root left which i will take out when the hospital finishes holidays as my dentist does not take teeth out. It started swelling so i went to the dentist. They prescribed me amoxicillin and corsodil. The thing is..my gum started swelling more inside, where the tooth was. I am on antibiotics from 36 hours ago, but now i get headaches. Should i take a trip to the emergency room ? It scares me so bad sad

I SEE YOUR CONCERN ,,,i would give the antibiotics a little more time ,, infection causing headache ,, they need to try and disarm this infected route possibly , since other tooth was pullled usually infection dies ,, but possibly other route might be going down ,,, i would rest, every 4 hours  advils, warm salt water ,, and see if headache subsides ,, maybe medicine causeing headache ,, if swollen gets worse or stiffness in jaw ,, call doctor ,, try a dentist before doctor ,, thats my opinion ,, i am not a dentist or doctor ,, just a recent amount of pain and restoration and 36 years of dental misery ,, a lot of it was caused by some bad dentist ,, now water under the bridge ,,,,

SO THEY REALLY HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS WRONG ,, WEIRD ,,, DONT LET INFECTIONS GET OUT OF CONTROL.. THEY CAN BLOW YOUR MOUTH UP LIKE A BALLOON ,, TRY AND SAVE THAT ROUTE BUT IF ITS FAR GONE U BETTER YANK IT ,, BECAUSE 6T0 8 MONTHS UP THE ROAD OR EVEN LESS ,,THIS MONSTER COMING BACK AND BRINGING IN FAMILY PUS ,,infection
