I have just been diagnosed with have 1&2. I am currently going through my first outbreak. I am so angry and depressed. I try to stay positive but I get so down and have been researching. I am no longer interested in life. I am 25 years old, was very vibrant and loved life. Now I am just angry and cry all the time. Been going through an OB from Dec 13. Now I am having a tingling sensation and more bump coming back. The doc gave me a 3 day course of Valtrex. it helped but now I need to go back because they are coming back. The itching is very uncomfortable. I broke up with the guy who gave me as he was a cheat and a liar. I don't have anyone to talk to. Looking for support and advice.

You can talk to me as well!!!...we are all here for you and have been where you are. Get your doctor to get you on daily medication therapy. I took mine for a year. My doctor also gave me aciclovir cream prescription..I use it for my type 2...And it helps with the itching and discomfort..PUT IT ON THE OB AREA...

I am going back in two weeks. I am now on valaciclovir 500mg ×2 daily for 10 days. We will see how that goes. I thought this OB would be over by now. I started feeling discomfort from November. then some white spots. Then tingling for a whole month. Then the blisters showed up Dec 24, 2018.

don't panic. Although herpes is uncomfortable and inconvenient, it can be controlled. It's better to think positively and see your doctor again. I was prescribed valtrex, but i felt itching after taking 2 doses. Then, i switched to prosurx and got expected results. Share your problems with your doctor and follow his/ her instruction. Additionally, it's crucial to avoid stress and negative thought. If you can't find anyone to talk, this forum and other sites could be trusted places to listen your trouble. Don't worry, everything will be fine.
