dear i was 24 when i was diagnosed with AS now 61 and still using medication go and see a reumatologist they are specialist on this issues do some blood tests like CRP CRS Those are the markers for inflammation in your blood , if CRP is high it is obvious your body make one protein who cause inflammation , i first start on ENBREL 50
weekly it works if that is no ask for CONSENTYX 150 this work in IL-17 A the ENBREL Work on TNF A on every person different protein is made which they do not know exactly , but the biologicals will help you control this disorder , methotraxate is no work as biologicals so well but ask a doctor who is reumatologist , certain foods can cause inflammation but this blood disorder is fired by a gene who called HLAB27 and together with inflammation is known that cause this auto immune disorder and all issues , there is no cure for this disorder try to control it all the best ,

Hi neha70568,
I'm also 29 and have had AS for the last 13 years. My dad calls it young man's arthritis. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but over the years I've found that the fitter I am in general, the less it affects me. Due to other health problems, I can't do high impact sports anymore, so walking is my primary way of staying fit. I just make sure I do at least a couple of half hour walks per week and that keeps most of the inflammation at bay. I'd switch the lemon for organic unfiltered unpasturised cider vinigar (x1 teaspoon in 250ml water) at the beginning of each day (I also tried tumeric for a long time and found it did nothing).
I'd also say to try another chiropractor. I've been through more than I care to remember, but some are far better than others. My current one is great. I also use a product called gravity life, which helps me keep my posture good and my spine aligned (this in turn helps improve my sleep as the less back pain I have, the more my sleep isn't interrupted).
