Diagnosed four days ago

Was diagnosed with C/Spond last week. All started after a epileptic seizure where I suffered from whiplasy type injury. Been off work for three weeks, just been given another four! I was expecting to be back at work by the end of the week. Prescribed Diclofenac and Co-Codamol. Start physio next week. I've had a v. painful back tooth for the last three months (maybe totally unrelated) anyone had this problem? How long does it actually take for the pain to go way completely? I'm 43.

    Hi

The pain never goes away unfortunately, as this is as chronic condition.

You can learn to manage it however Sorry to sound a bit trite, but it means finding a way that suits you. It may be pain-killers. It may be other solutions - chiropractic, pain management programmes etc. Or a mixture of all these things.

It is a long process, and I wish you luck.

    Regards

have just been diagnosed with CS follwing a fall down stairs and fracturing some vertebrae. For past two years have also had headaches from back neck to front, last three days, make me feel very sick.Feel dizzy, blurred vision.Tinnitus in ear, pain in face teeth.Recently had two teeth out and an implant before I knew that it was CS.

Am glad they know what what it is but am worried about the future.

i gather with degenerative conditions they reall can't do that much?
