Hi Cazalin. You sound like me. The only thing I have had to cut out is all dairy products. Milk, yoghurt, cheese etc etc. Its one of the common bowel irritants. The other irritant is Gluten, which doesnt affect me. There are numerous other things but these are the main two.

If you want to do an exclusion diet then dont forget you have to study the ingredients on all prepared food like ready meals or cakes/biscuits etc etc. Its amazing how many contain these ingredients. It can be a long and frustrating task to find out the culprit food but its so worth it when you finally have the answer.

hi cazalin, liquid iron? it gives you the runs! i would ask about a different way to take iron, speak to your doctor, some people tolerate iron and some don't. try adding in iron rich food like greens, spinach, broccoli. if you look online you will find a list of foods that contain iron. you are not really meant to add supplements in to your diet unless your doctor or some other health professional recommends it as you may accidentally get the dosage wrong or take the wrong thing. just ask before you add anything like this. good luck, i hope your stomach improves!
