I have this sharp pain in my left side, low ribs and sometimes goes into my back to the point I can’t stand and it feels like someone is stabbing me/ pressing really hard down on it. Never felt this before. there’s still a slight pain in the area when i lie down. Also been urinating a lot more idk. I have felt nauseous like 3 times these 2 weeks but have an appetite and haven’t lost any weight. Just came back from the gp and been diagnosed with pericarditis. The doctor was googling my symptoms, nothing wrong with it, i dont expect her to know everything but she was very hesitant and took her about half n hour to come to a conclusion, a urine sample, which was normal. temperature and bp was also fine, haven’t had a fever or chills or sweats. I’ve been prescribed amoxicillin.

She mentioned being referred to i think cardiologist but nhs takes time i wonder??
