DIAGNOSED WITH RHINITUS

I visited my partners Dr today, he said I have rhinitus and gave me another nose spray, I already have a nose spray each day for allergy.  I went to him last week too, he said it was just a cold.  Previously I have been given antibiotics by my Dr for my nose problems, had sinus infections!  I am getting really fed up as I am having to get up in the night to take painkillers for headaches, nurofen or paracetomol.  I am staying at my partners another week due to Bank Holiday and also due to the fact that my nose is bothering me.

Should I have been given antibiotics for my problem, my nose is continually running, I have to put albas oil on my mask, I use a ventilator at  night for scoliosis as well as oxygen during the day. I am finding it difficult to breathe as easily due to my nose too.

No, you obviously don't need antibiotics.

Buy some menthol crystals and use one or 2 [you don't need a lot] and put them in a bowl of boiling water.  Then get a towel an put it over your head and the bowl and inhale.  It will clear your blocked sinuses.  You will need to repeat this several times.

Olbas do an inhaler stick, which you could also use.  I always have one in my handbag.

Your headache will soon disappear once you have inhaled for a few times.
