Diagnosed with type 1 down there

So i was told earlier this week i had herpes. However til yesterday did i get the lab results back saying it was type 1.

So i was just wondering out there how many of you also have type 1 down there? How that is going for you as well as far as outbreaks and all that ?

Also on a quick side note. I cant go to the bathroom, well i can i just hesitate to so much becuase i have the what i believe is a huge sore right on my anal sphincter (i believe thats the proper name?) As well as two others around it. Every time i go i have this horrible pain and im not sure if im tearing the sore becuase when i try to wipe theres blood from the sore. And it seems like this is the only sore that hasnt healed! Anyone else had this issue?? And is it possible to get new sores even days after your outbreak and even though your other sores have almost healed??

I had the same issue when I would wipe and all that. Only I have type 2.

When I wiped sometimes there would be little speckles of blood. I was scared to wipe too hard because I was wiping dead skin off . I never did get any sores towards my Anal tho I can't even imagine how painful it would be when you would have to do something other then pee.

The most painful part for me was when it was peeling off and I had raw skin and I would have to go the bathroom the most painful thing ever,

It does heal . I can tell you that and I have the worser type and It only took me to dec 2nd to the 8th to completely heal of my sores and the pain ., my skin pigment is even coming back now.

type one isn't as bad and you shouldn't have that many outbreaks either ..

People on here have said their first outbreak was the worse but after that they had one or two painless sores ..

So it will heal. Use A&D ointment !!!

That's what I used and I healed so quickly and as long as the area is lubricated it doesn't give you as much pain

Hang it there Hun , it does get better as the days go on

Pretty much identical to me! Found out on Tuesday and unsure what type it is, but I can't poo without it bleeding and opening up! It's so painful.

And I think I've developed a new set of blisters even as the old ones started to heal.

So confused as to why this is happening and why the medication did not surpress the second outbreak.

It is very very painful!! And what worries me if those blisters wont heal because they are constantly being torn when i poo, or that theyll get infected!

Its just strange though, if our body is already healing why would another set of blisters appear?

However im not sure if my "new" set of blisters are blisters becuase i have psoriases as well ( skin condition where patchy flaky areas of skin build up.

Keep your #2 soft (eat dried apricots or a teaspoon of coconut oil daily, but beware the latter can be quite potent, lol) and wipe gently. The anal lesions should heal relatively quickly.

Lol. Ill have to watch exactly what i eat then. I do have coconut oil so ill start taking that. And hopefully this helps. Because all me lesion are about 90% healed except the ones in my butt!

And i was given my meds very early on within the first day. However i also have psoriases so im starting to think these new pink spots i have which are very itchy is just an outbreak of psoriases which i prefer a hundred times over more herpes sores.

Go easy on the coconut oil and don't double up with anything else, because suffice it to say, I had a rather, ahem, explosive experience! Certainly helped, though, haha.

I think a first outbreak is pretty hard to control with the meds, because it's your body's first reaction to coming under attack by the virus, so it just needs to run its course. Even when taken early, it won't stop a first outbreak, only lessen it to a degree. The meds are more effective against recurrences. But, yeah, could also be the psoriasis in your case.

Lol ill watch the cocnutnoil although ny symptoms seem to be getting better. However im now concerned in getting a second outbreak right after this first. I had a beer last night. And i know alcohol doesnt help so i made a huge nistake. And i think im paying for it now as in getting a tingling sensation down there. I hope i dont get another outbreak because if that.

One beer should be okay. Several beers might not be, but I guess it depends on the individual!

I've had Type 1 for about two months now. So far I've only had my initial outbreak. The great thing is that I've hardly ever thought about it since getting over the initial shock and process of realizing I have this thing for life.

BUT it gets way easier to manage. I say this because the medication helped immensely - are you on meds? It helped with the pain and the sores went away after about 5-7 days.

How are you doing emotionally? I'm sure you're going through a roller coaster right now. But like I said it gets way easier. Don't beat yourself up, it doesn't change you as a person at all.

Anyway, hope you're doing better - ALSO I've found if it's hard to pee then try peeing in a shallow warm bath!

Two months? Well thats good to hear. Honestly it was a roller coaster for me. Mainly the first two days, but suprisingly 5 days later im good! Or so i think lol

I was given meds right away by the doctor. So i know that helped and i began eating as healthy as i could to help my immune system. It seems as though this outbreak is also going to be 5 to 7 days as it was for you. I was told it was type 1 and typically outbreaks happen less with type 1 down there. Regardless i believe i can manage this. Its good to read someone as yourself is doing good 2 months later! Gives me hope!

But all in all im doing fine i think ive accepted it. My sores are pretty much all healed besides the ones right near my butt.

It is not uncommon for a first herpes outbreak to comprise two crops of lesions about a week apart. The meds can only do so much, especially with a first outbreak, and it depends very much on how soon you started the meds.

I also have type 1 down there...

Got it from my husband's cold sore!

I had a lot of outbreaks but my situation is different than a lot of people here!

I have 2 sons who are not sleeping so i'm really tired..i found out last wednesday that i had a cervix infection and a dermatitis down there since i gave birth to my son 4 months ago...so my immune system was pretty weak! Now, i am on antibiotics so i will get better and the std spécialist i saw is confident that my outbreaks will stop after this!

I m sorry to hear you got it too..the first outbreak is the worst!

I have type one and was diagnosed April time last hear.I can't have the meds as I am allergic to them..which sucks...I had two weeks off work and can honestly say I had it bad, couldn't sleep or wee or sit. But to wee they have me something to numb me...it was amazing lol

I don't think iv had another break out. But I'm.not sure what to look out for.I keep thinking when I shave is it coz of that or is it a breakout that I get a little red...or I think I'm getting itchy and start worrying about it, or they say rough sex can trigger it..so I'm scared to have rough sex.

Worse thing is I never used to get sore after sex but after healing with a bad break out..even doctors were feeling sorry for. me...I am.more sore after sex.
