Diagnosed yesterday with fibromyalgia

hi all I was diagnosed yesterday after years of pain and to be honest I am a little scared and feel so alone, 

i need support from people who know what is happening to me please help x x

    I was scared too but no need to be. (gentle hugs) It's a battle to find the right doctors and treatment but hang in there. It's worth the fight. Everyone here is so nice and helpful so ask questions or vent if you need too.

    I was very scared , but on finding a great consultant and with the love and support from family and this group, I have love understanding and great advice. Gentle hugs x

    Hi sammig5578 I was terrified wen I had my first flare up I cudnt move an I was so scared. But try not to worry cos stress will make it worse for you. This group is really good for support an chats they are lovely I only joined few months back an every1 who I spoke to on her was helpful. Gentle hugs to you an always her to chat to kirsty xxx

    Thank you for all your replys hopefully with all your help and the medication there putting me on I can start to feel in someways better if that's at all possible gentle hugs back to you all and any advice for me please feel free to message I would very much appreciate it loads x x x

    I would advise you to research whatever pills they are going to give you. Check out the side effects. Stay away from steriods! Try homeopathic,, supplements, as well as essential oils. I use them with great success. There isn't a pill or shot out there that will cure you. My doctor is having me cleanse then introduce certain foods. So I switched to using coconut flour, milk and butter. After 3 therapies of brain exercise and electric stimulated, I feel better. I even can sleep more than a couple hours at a time.
