Diagnosing lymphoedema

my grandmother is suspected to have lymphoedema she is awaiting a specialist appointment my question is hereditary type will me and my daughter need to be tested to see if we also have it? or when diagnosing it will we need to be tested ?

    Have you been told this is inherited Lymphoedema?

    There should be absolutely no pressure put on you or anyone else to have a test...that is entirely up to you. If you dont want to know ,then refuse any test. You dont say how old your daughter is but if she is over 16 then its entirely her choice as well.
