its been a long while since I posted regarding RA....I eventually got to see the Rheumatologist 3 months ago after a mess up with appoint, mainly me not getting them, then being signed off...then having to go back on the waiting list....well, I have RA and due to see the rheumatologist again next month, but low and behold, she’s taking 3 months of work, so it’s going to be months again until I see her. My symptoms are worsening, now from shoulders to both elbows, both knees and now same toes on both feet, all in less than 12 months...not just that, but getting extreme fatigue, dizziness..2 days ago I fell over and all I was doing was stood in front of the hob stirring a pan!!!....has anyone used LDN? I’ve booked to see my GP and I’m going to ask about this, I understand you can only get it on private prescription?

I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis too. My doctor prescribed me hydroxychlorquine. They usually prescribe this with people who have RA. And typically they also prescribe methotrexate. Both of these medications should work to help control your pain. It is my understanding that the hydrochloricquine can take anywhere from two weeks to two or three months to get the full effect. Did your doctor prescribe you any medication before he or she left? If not can your GP do that?
