    Hi Roy

Yes same here I haven't found anything that works so far. I also lost a lot of weight. I think it is the meds and hoping our systems will settle down soon. It's amazing how many people suffer from this whilst taking cit. It will be interesting to see what other people here say.

    Take care

Hey Roy, I increased to 40mg last week and have nausea, upset stomach and headaches. Am taking Zantac, ginger tea and pepper mint capsules and eating before i take my tablet in the morning. Think you have to plod on till your body gets used to it.

Diarrhea is common when you have anxiety. I used to get it a lot when in a situation that made my anxiety worse. After the citalopram started working though, the diarrhea stopped. If you have upped you citalopram, this will initially increase the down side as well as the upsaide effects, so maybe it not the citalopram that's causing it but the anxiety?

Don't think ts the anxiety as that has improved a lot, will be seing my GP tomorrow and will see what she thinks.

    Hi Roy

How did you get on at doctors?

Doctor thought it was likely that it was Cit and as I seem a lot better try going back to 10mg a day and see if that helps.

So over the next couple of weeks I will drop of one of the tablets, Have 10mg every other day then every three days and then just the 10mg.

Hoping that improves things as I am away on a walking holiday next week on Exmoor.

Thanks for the update Roy. I am wondering if that's what's doing it to me. I upped to 20 and in the 4th week had the same as you. Be nice to hear how you get on with the 10mg.

      Take care
