I had a right hemi-colectomy on 4/17/19 to remove a 4 inch flat polyp. Doc removed 2 feet of colon plus appendix and hernia. My bowels functioned pretty normally while on pain meds but I've had diarrhea for 3 days now since stopping pain meds. I'm sure the meds slowed my system down....anyone else have this surgery and suggestions on diet and recovery process?

I had this surgery 20 years ago and remember having diarrhoea quite badly for several weeks afterwards. It takes your body some time to adjust to having some of the colon removed. Once it settled I was fine, and still am.
