Diarrhea and Pain after Hemorrhoid Banding

Hi all

I just had the banding procedure done about 8 hours ago. And after dinner I came down with a horrible case of diarrhea.

I am now really worried something might have gone wrong with the procedure. I dont read online about diaarhea being a side effect after the banding procedure? Did any of you have this? I am terrified it might be infection.

Other then this symptom, i just have the dull ache and pain in the procedure location, which I have been told is normal.

I would call the doctor but the office is closed.
