HI my name is paul am 29yrs. i have been having diarrhea for the last two months. am not feeling any stomach ache or bloating. the only other symptom is that when i walk for a short distance i start feeling as if am loosing balance and some diziness.  i first went to a pharmacy and bought some antibiotics levofloxacin being one of them  it didnt stop. then went to a doctor he did some stool tests and he said i had some bacterial infection gave me some other antibiotics and i was also given some salts to reintroduce lost ions which i finished with no change.

i went to another doctor he suggested that i might be having girdiasis, i was given a high dose of antibiotics that fight the the protozoa. i still did not get well. please help if anyone knows waht is ailing me.

Have you looked at your Diet, if your intake does not take in any bulk you may suffer the skits.

Do you eat bread with grain or potatoes etc. Your stools may be lacking, Do you eat any cereals or roughage

Paul talk to your GP and ask what He suggests, it may be something you are eating or drinking. Some people may have loose stools while others will seem to suffer constipation. A loose stool does not mean you have diarrhea it can mean the opposite.

I spent a great deal of time in the middle East and Central Asia their stools where loose and that was normal. They suggested it was to do with the water they drank and how much they drank each day.

Sometimes milk and dairy products can sometimes cause problems

Discuss with your GP to put your mind at rest. Make a list of your food, and drink that may help in determining if anything is wrong

i will try to find a gp. but my biggest problem is the feeling of dizziness and loosing balance after walking a distance of say 1/2 a kilometer. any ideas about that and it is not due to dehydration because am taking a lot of water and rehydration salts.

To find out about dizziness and loss of balance, your best bet is to ask your doctor.  We cannot diagnose you on this site because we are not doctors. We can only give you ideas to ask your doctor about.
