Diarrhoea 6 weeks on ... Please read

*Hi, me again. Just another question.

Its 6 weeks on from taking 50mg of sertraline and still having diarrhoea.

went back to work today after being off for 3 weeks , felt ok getting up at 6;30, didn't have any nerves or the need to use the toilet. Half way into my job I felt the urge to use the loo, I drove home and exploded , It was horrific. I think at that time of the stomach cramp I was complaining about the traffic and felt the urge to use the loo. I'm wondering do people have dirrhoea with taking sertraline and have they stopped taking the medication and felt better?

Hi, I'm on my 6 week also and I still am the same as you but only in the morning. It does not bother me. Did you have the problem before treatment because of nerves?

Hi, I've had a couple of episodes before I got anxiety. Each time was severe diarrhoea and cramps. During these times I was experiencing stress. Each time I went to the doctors I was given tablets for IBS which hadn't worked. I'm now starting to think that taking sertraline has made me worse, as I feel 6 weeks on from taking them I'm not feeling any better. Both my sisters are on sertraline and experience severe diarrhoea but I'm in a job where I have to get out of a vehicle and speak to people, which I believe set of my anxiety today causing severe diarrhoea.
