Diarrhoea for a year

Hi, 

My husband is 34 and has diarrhoea about 6 times a day, and has done for over a year. He eats well and exercises and has no other symptoms. He refuses to go to the dr as says he feels very well. But this is not normal surely? He used to go twice a day all his life, then suddenly he went to Bangladesh for work, had a bad stomach bug for 2 weeks and the diarrhoea has not stopped since. Does anyone have any idea how to stop it or ideas on what it could be?

    I would encourage him to go to see a Dr. Probably got either a parasite or bacteria that is affecting his BMs. There are stool tests that can quickly give the answer if this is the issue.
