Diarrhoea on citalopram

Hi All,

i am 5 weeks on 20mg and still getting occassional diarrohea. does anyone else? i dont feel anxious when i get it but then after i have been to the toilet i feel anxious and find it a viscous circle!

    Absolutely, I suffered with diahoreah for around 6 months... It is normal though, so try not to worry to much. Its just a long term side effect that affects some and not others.

    thank you for replying!

    my health anxiety seems focused on mu bowels at the moment so this side effect is nt helping!!!

    i always have a sensitive stomach am getting an upset stomach more often than usual since being on cit
