diarrhoer and sertraline

Been on 25mg for 2weeks 50mg now for 5days.

Feel awful an bad diarrhoer.do i giv in or stick with them

Help

    I had the same side effects..headaches, upset stomach, rigid jaw...etc..it is normal unfortunely..if you have committed to try this treatment for your condition, you should plan on it taking weeks..it seems any fluctuation in the dose allows the side effects to continue..the hard part is finding the "right" individual dose.. I was on for 4 months, from 25mg to 75mg..than back down and SLOWLY tapering off..my problem is insomnia with anxiety..so long story short..if you commit to trying this med..you should plan on a few months of adjustment..maybe try lower dose increases..good luck..hope it gets better soon

    It does get easier. I didn't go anywhere unless I knew there'd be a loo. I went on a bus trip and took 2 Imodium beforehand!!!!
