I have taken both although over the years I cannot remember when o what I was on over time.

I was on Sleeping tablets for seven years with AD medications and I was like the Living Dead.

I am on antidepresants and took 2mg of diazapam , just one tablet, when things were very tense. It helped me a little, not a great deal, but still helped. No side effects except headache. If needed I will take it again, just dont want to take it regulary as after 2 or 3 weeks can be dependent.

I would avoid benzodiazepines in any dose as they are very addictive and hell to get off.

mj we all run with a concern of dependency. We have to consider if the risk is worth all our concerns

Diazepam as well as opiates can cause headaches, light headedness and dizziness. My neurologist told me to avoid these drugs. I did and my headaches cleared up.

    Hi lorna

Yes i take diazepam daily. It calms my breathing and anxiety down alot for a couple of hours.

I take valdoxan and mirtazepam at night to help me sleep but im awake at 2am with the fight or flight feeling allday long.

I now have to buy diazepam on line because docs wont prescribe them for me. Im in the uk. But i find they help alot.
