Diazepam addiction timescale

Hi there.

I am currently on a sertraline increase to 100mgs. To help with this transition I have been given diazepam 2mg tablets. I take my sertraline at night and last night was my first 100mg. I also took 4mg and it helped me sleep. I have just taken my second 100mg and another 4mg of diazepam. Tomorrow I only plan on taking 2mg and then none. Can i get addicted on this plan? withdrawals?

    everyone is different, myself because i know the addiction and know about the withdrawl being worse than heroin I refuse to take them like candy. but I have being prescribed them for 6 months now and fine using only as and when needed can go without them but when something extremely stressful comes up I start getting anxious so just take one or 2 then.......

    my opinion and nothing else is you will be fine just be aware diazepam half life is about 5/6 days so though you took 4mg earlier and 4mg yesterday the dose will be higher than 4mg in your body already, if you can manage tommorow and even Thursday without one then Friday take 2mg it would be better
